The House Renovation Saga

While decluttering one of the back bedrooms, we rediscovered the matchstick blinds that we bought a few years back for the kitchen. We couldn't stand the old-lady-floral-styled-lacy curtains that have been hanging in the kitchen for yoinks, so yesterday, Alastair ripped out the old curtains, and took it to Revolve (the recycling depot).

Alastair decided to install the matchstick blinds today.

Here's the finished result (excuse the messy kitchen bench - we're in the middle of decluttering and have been using the kitchen bench as our sorting table)!

The rest of the kitchen is still really ugly. Not sure yet if we're going to put more money into this house before we sell. If so, we'll be ripping out the kitchen and replacing it with a new one with better colours!
